What is Testolone (RAD-140)?
RAD-140 is a SARM originally developed for medical uses (including cancer research). In fitness circles it is marketed as a particularly “strong” SARM.
How well studied is Testolone (RAD-140)?
There are no reliable data on muscle building in humans; the evidence comes from animal studies. In humans, RAD-140 is documented mainly through case reports of adverse effects.
What side effects and risks does Testolone (RAD-140) have?
Several case reports of severe cholestatic liver injury with jaundice and itching, sometimes with very high bilirubin levels; in the reported cases it resolved after stopping. Plus suppression of the hormone axis, falling HDL and the heart attack and stroke risk flagged by the FDA.
Is Testolone (RAD-140) approved in Germany?
In short: no. Not approved anywhere and not a dietary supplement. WADA: S1.2, listed by name, prohibited at all times. In Germany, anabolic agents fall under the Anti-Doping Act (AntiDopG): manufacturing, trafficking and placing on the market are criminal offences, as are acquiring and possessing non-small quantities for doping; for elite athletes, self-doping is a criminal offence.
