Andarine is one of the early SARMs from the same research line as ostarine. Its development as a medicine was not continued.
How well studied is Andarine (S4)?
Data come essentially from animal studies; there are no reliable human studies on efficacy and safety.
What side effects and risks does Andarine (S4) have?
As with other SARMs: suppression of the body's own hormone production, unfavourable blood lipids, possible liver injury and, according to the FDA, increased risk of heart attack and stroke. Users report visual disturbances (e.g. yellow tint, poorer night vision); there are no solid studies on this.
Is Andarine (S4) approved in Germany?
In short: no. Not approved anywhere. WADA: S1.2, listed by name, prohibited at all times. In Germany, anabolic agents fall under the Anti-Doping Act (AntiDopG): manufacturing, trafficking and placing on the market are criminal offences, as are acquiring and possessing non-small quantities for doping; for elite athletes, self-doping is a criminal offence. Black-market products are uncontrolled.
